Terms and condictions

1. Definitions

• Carrier: Humac Associates Limited, including any sub-contractor appointed under Clause 3.

• Customer: The person or company contracting with the Carrier, including any other carrier providing a Consignment for carriage.

• Contract: The agreement between the Customer and the Carrier, subject to these Terms and Conditions.

• Consignee: The recipient of the Consignment as specified by the Customer.

• Consignment: Goods in bulk or in any parcel, package, container, or envelope sent at one time by the Customer from one address to another.

• Dangerous Goods: As defined in the Road Traffic (Carriage of Dangerous Substances in Packages etc.) Regulations 1992, including explosives, radioactive substances, and other hazardous materials

2. General

• The Carrier operates at its sole discretion and accepts Consignments for carriage only under these Terms and Conditions. Any alterations must be agreed upon in writing by a Director of the Carrier.

3. Authority and sub-contracting

3.1. The Customer warrants ownership or authorization for accepting these Terms on behalf of the owner.

3.2. The Carrier may subcontract services and provide the names of such carriers upon request.

3.3. The Carrier contracts as an agent and trustee for its servants, agents, and subcontractors.

3.4. For rail, sea, inland waterway, or air carriage, the Carrier acts as an agent for the Customer, subject to the terms of the respective carriers.

4. Dangerous
goods

• Dangerous Goods must be disclosed and accepted by the Carrier in advance, classified, packed, and labeled per statutory regulations. Transport Emergency Cards or required written information must accompany the Consignment.
